Aekvatorkaffe started roasting coffee and importing from Ecuador and other parts of the world in 2013. Aekvatorkaffe is owned by Jacob Verkade, and he has a great passion for coffee, especially coffee from South America, where his brother is growing coffee since 2008.
Aekvatorkaffe has their coffee roastery and shop located in Vejle (Denmark). The roastery and shop offers good-washed, honey and natural Arabica coffee from Ecuador, Honduras , Peru, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea and Sumatra. All the coffees are organic certified, and some also fair trade cetified. The beans get roasted light to medium for filter coffee and medium to dark roast for espresso
