Introduction
Welcome to My Own Coffee Story, a online store for specialty coffee and coffee equipment. The terms and conditions are effective between the individual user and My Own Coffee Story. When you enter and/or use our webshop, you are entering a legal agreement with us. We assume you accept the following terms and conditions in full, so you should read and understand them because they affect your rights and liabilities.
These terms and conditions for usage are effective for agreements between My Own Coffee Story and a physical person (from here on after “The User”) regarding this service and apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our service.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a collective agreement, which is valid between The User and My Own Coffee Story.
Once again and as described previously, to access the Service, The User is required to read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

Payment and VAT
My Own Coffee Story accepts online payments with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, VISA, Mastercard and mobilepay.
All products on the website are displayed in Euro (EUR) or Danish Krone (DKK).
Payment will only be deducted from your account when the physical item is shipped
When using a payment card, debit or credit card, a reservation is made for the amount traded for. This amount is reserved until the webshop has processed and shipped your order. When the order is dispatched, the amount will be withdrawn from the account.
The reservation time depends on the product/service.
When using a Debit Card, you will be able to see that money is reserved on your account and your available amount will therefore appear to be less.
If you or the webshop cancels the order, then the webshop will not be able to withdraw the money from your account, but you will still be able to see the reservation amount on your account for some time.
Note, that only the bank (or card issuer) can cancel such a reservation.
With Credit Card authorization, the money will be withdrawn from your account when the web shop processes and withdraws the payment from your order. The transaction will now appear in your bank overview.
All prices on the website include VAT.
The website uses the following currencies for pricing: Euro (EUR) and Danish kroner (dkkr)
My Own Coffee Story uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol, meaning your data is secure and cannot be read by other third parties.
My Own Coffee Story reserves the right to cancel orders without notice due to typos, technical errors, changes in VAT and taxes, sold out items or force majeure.
Fees for using the Service must be paid according to the existing price list, which is available on the website.
Purchases
When The User purchasing any product or service through our webshop, you may be asked to supply information relevant to your purchase and order including, without limitation, your credit information, your billing address, and your shipping information. This information incl. cardholder’s card details will be stored in our system.
The User is legally responsible for ensuring, that the information provided is accurate at the time of registration. Upon registration, The User may only provide information regarding their own payment and credit cards.When you provide us with such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for supply purposes of facilitating the completion of purchase.
We will charge your credit card account for payment upon receipt of the order, unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within 30 days. Items with a lead-time greater than 30 days, we will contact you and give you the option of a refund for that item. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the right payment details.
My Own Coffee Story reserves the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.
We keep all information connected with your order secure but we cannot be held liable for any loss that you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data, including credit and account details you provide when accessing or ordering from this website, unless this is solely due to our negligence.
After any purchase on the website, you will receive a receipt by email, and you can also find it under my account if you have one.
Subscription
My Own Coffee Story has different subscription, which is based on individual needs.
The User signup for a subscription will be valid once your payment has been approved and processed.
The User is granted access to the Service on My Own Coffee Story’s website upon ordering a subscription.
The User is required to register a user account in oder to access the service.
If the payment is canceled or denied, you will be contacted via email.
It is your responsibility as a customer that all email, billing, and shipping addresses are correct. It is also your responsibility to ensure all payments are made by the due date. The subscription is prepaid before every month.
The subscriptions are packed and shipped approximately a week after payment.
The User is required to pay for the subscription through the means of payment methods offered by
My Own Coffee Story on the website. The User commits to sign the necessary documents and to have sufficient funds available for payment through the chosen payment method at each payment date.
Registration and User Access on the subscription
When registering, The User is required to enter a user name and a password (hereafter “Login Information”). The Users Login Information is personal and may not be used by others unless otherwise stated on the product.
The User is required to keep the Login Information in a safe place so that others cannot gain unauthorized access to them. The User is responsible for all use of his or hers user account.
If The User suspects an illegal use of The User Login Information, The User must immediately notify My Own Coffee Story and also change the password of the account.
Adjustments and Changes on the subscription
My Own Coffee Story reserves the right to change the fees and other Terms of the Service. The change must be notified to The User no later than thirty (30) days before the change takes effect. In the event of such changes, The User is entitled to terminate the subscription with effect from the date on which the change takes effect. If The User does not terminate the subscription before the change takes effect, it must be considered acceptance of the change. Changes that are obviously beneficial to The User apply immediately without the right of cancellation of the User.
Termination of Subscription
If you want to cancel your subscription, you can do it under MY ACCOUNT, no later than the 10th of the month before the next delivery.

Canceling an order
you can cancel your order if it hasn’t been shipped yet. Please reach out to our customer support team as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Delivery and Shipping
We ship with PostNord (the Danish Postal Service),DAO, DHL and GLS
We try to send all orders to private customers within 2-5 business days.
We try to have as little coffee in stock as possible, so you get freshly roasted coffee, therefore sometimes you will experience longer delivery times due to the amount in stock and third parties supplement.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination and chosen delivery method. Our estimated delivery time can vary and may be influenced by external conditions that we cannot control. We do therefore not guarantee the exact delivery times.
If you experience any delays where the delivery has exceeded the estimated delivery time, then contact us.
Shipping costs will be shown upon checkout, however, please be advised that local taxes and import duties may apply and is not included in the shipping costs. When ordering from outside of the EU, taxes are always applied. Taxes and duties are applied by local tax authorities and differ from country to country and will be based on the value of the order and the type and size of the product.
My Own Coffee Story reserves the right to maintain that it is the customer who has the financial responsibility if the package is returned to us due, but not limited to, cancellation, local tax of the purchase. We will therefore be entitled to deduct the amount for return shipping before refunding the purchase price.
Refund
My Own Coffee Story will refund a purchase according to the laws of Denmark. Return Policy
Food items (coffee) are non-refundable under Danish law. But if a coffee does not meet your expectations, please contact us, and see if we can find a solution that is acceptable to both of us
Customers have the right to return all other purchase (cups, equipment etc.) within 14 working days of the purchase being delivered. Please contact us at contact@myowncoffeestory.com before returning the item, and remember to state your order number and relevant contact information in the e-mail. The refund will be carried out when the product has successfully been returned to us. For a full refund, the products must be intact, unopened, and in original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse any returns, that do not fulfill these criteria. It is your responsibility to ship the items back
to us, and it is at your own risk and expense. All returned items must be sent traceable and prepaid in appropriate packaging to avoid in-transit damage
Refunds will be processed at the same method as the customer’s original payment.
We do not make any refunds on products that are custom-made or personalized
