Honduras Comsa is our organic coffee from the cooperative Comsa. The coffee is a fruity coffee with a clean mouthfeel. It has flavor notes of peach and a wonderful aroma of caramel.
This is a very pleasant coffee that has the typical characteristics of a coffee from Honduras. They are usually very balanced and have a nice interplay between the sour and the sweet.
The Honduran coffee from Holy Bean comes from the Marcala area, which is one of the really good growing areas in Honduras. The coffee beans are transported to the washing station, located in Barrio La Victotia. Here the pulp is removed (pulping) and the beans are washed. It is then sun-dried in a dome with screens to preserve the best possible quality.
This coffee is for you who are looking for a balance between acidity and sweetness.
With the coffee from Honduras, you are not only helping to take better care of our environment but also the young people of the future. With the La Finca Humana project, the focus is on young people and getting them away from crime and unemployment in the big cities and back to the countryside. Here they will, among other things, be trained in sustainable agriculture.
